OUR DESIGN Freedom from insecurity, shame, self-doubt
Hope. The desire of Mercy Manor is that every hurting individual experiences the unconditional love of Jesus and finds a new life in Christ. God has a plan and a purpose for every life and His heart desire is the restoration of each one of us to His Divine Call.
Commitment. Every staff member, director, volunteer and supporter of Mercy Manor will support opportunities for the individual’s restoration of hope.
Debilitating problems. Many individuals who come to Mercy Manor are dealing with drug or alcohol abuse, prescription medication dependency, suicidal tendencies, eating disorders, fear or depression that may be related to past abortions, rejection, or physical or sexual abuse, and of course not having a roof over their head.
Structure. We will commit to encouraging individuals to seek God first in their lives so their love for the Lord will grow strong and steadfast, and to live in peace and harmony with all individuals. This will be accomplished through a disciplined structure of prayer, Bible study, scripture memorization, Biblical counseling, work assignments and recreation. Residents are taught life and leadership skills, and will receive educational and career counseling as well as financial management training.
Sincere Desire. The primary qualification for the participant is sincere desire for change. The applicant must commit to a 6-month, curriculum-based program and demonstrate a heart willing to submit to and practice the principles laid down throughout the program.
